Functional Skills System
Designed for intellectually challenged youth and adults and targets the core skills needed to function independently in our homes, schools, communities and workplaces. There are currently 84 programs and over 4,500 short videos included in the program’s eight key life skills areas:

The system has three levels of difficulty:
- Mild – Estimated IQ Range 50-69
- Moderate – Estimated IQ Range 35-49
- Severe – Estimated IQ Range 20-34

MECA – Career Planning and Transition
A career exploration, career assessment and vocational assessment system related to training, education and employment.
The four parts of MECA are:
- The Interest Indicator
- Work Samples
- Learning Assessment Programs

The Interest Indicator
An assessment of interests based upon personal likes and dislikes of general everyday activities and, as a result, it can be used by individuals with little or no work experience. Follow up MECA activities related to the highest areas of interest are automatically assigned and delivered.
Work Samples
Hands-on simulations of an actual part of a job. The Work Samples provide opportunities to try out jobs in a non-threatening way. Each career kit contains all of the tools, supplies and hardware needed to perform all activities and is administered through a video-based format.
Learning Assessment Programs
Integrated learning assessments of job specific academic skills needed to perform the job and, as a result, establish the need to learn academic skills related to an interest area. Results can be used to plan a course of study to support post-secondary goals.
The Career Planner
Occupational information system with a low reading level (4th-5th grade), full audio and hundreds of video clips that will hold the interest of each participant. A unique feature is the Career Portfolio, which is a tool for documenting post-secondary outcomes and the resources needed to achieve these outcomes.

Success Profiler – Emotional Intelligence
It is no secret that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills are the key to success for all people, they are the building blocks to all social skill development. For over 30 years, The Conover Company® has sought ways to teach the skills of EQ to individuals of all learning abilities. These EQ programs are a lower-level version of our suite of EQ products that teach personal skills like self-awareness, empathy, stress management, assertion, self-esteem and interpersonal awareness skills through interactive activities and videos.

Financial Success System
Our Financial literacy system is unique in that it incorporates Financial Soft Skills with Financial Soft Skills. For example, in Staying on Budget there included are soft skills such as self-control, self-management and personal responsibility.
Soft Skills Series
Financial Soft Skills Series is a twelve-part series on the soft skills, or emotional intelligence skills, related to successful financial goal setting.
Hard Skills Series
An eight-part program, combining financial soft skills with financial hard skills. Knowledge gained in the Soft Skills series will be applied in this program.
